Here are answers to some common questions. 

UK/EU STUDENTS

  • How do I apply?

    You need to register with us and complete the relevant application. It is a quick simple step. Once we have you're details and know what you are looking to study we complete the rest for you. 

  • Am I eligible to apply?

    We welcome applicants with varied experiences and different backgrounds and we have a commitment that no student with potential is deterred from applying. Entry requirements can be high but a wide range of qualifications and experience are considered. 


  • Are the courses funded?

    YES! All courses for UK/EU student is funded by student finance for more information please contact admission@bluestoneeducation.co.uk

  • How do I apply for Student Finance?

    You can apply online via the Student Finance Website. If you haven’t already got an account online, you will need to create an account. This will mainly consist of you providing Student Finance with your personal details.

  • will student finance affect me if I am on benefits

    Entitlement to Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit remains unchanged by study or student funding. However, your Maintenance Loan and Maintenance Grant will affect and reduce your income-based benefits e.g. Housing Benefit and Income Support. Your student income can cancel out payment of some benefits altogether.

  • Can I apply for a Study Abroad programme?

    Applicants for the Study Abroad programme should apply directly through international at www.bluestoneeducation.co.uk/international

  • Why do we interview?

    For the majority of programmes, we do not require an interview as part of our admissions process.


    Criteria for shortlisting are based on academic merit, references and evidence of your motivation which might be demonstrated through your personal statement, research proposal or covering letter depending on your level of study.


    However, in some cases the University will interview if it is felt that this is the best method of identifying potential for study or for an award, and/or where there is a relevant legal/regulatory requirement or guideline.

  • Can I defer my place?

    If you wish to defer you will have to contact  admission@bluestoneeducation.co.uk  Please quote  ID number in all correspondence.

  • Do I have to study full time?

    Great news is we have many study options from Full time and Part time. 


    Classes availble from, Day or Evening and Weekend.

  • Do I need visa?

    If you have valid Settled or Pre-settled status as an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen under the EU Settlement Scheme you will not require a Student Route visa, which allows you to study in the UK.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

  • How do I get a Student Route visa?

    You can apply for your Student Route visa online.


    You'll need a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) and the unique number it contains. The Compliance team will issue this once you've met all the academic and non-academic conditions of your offer.

  • Can I use my deposit payment towards payment of my fees?

    Yes, but the deposit can only be used against the fees for your final term. All other terms must be paid in full by the due date shown on your invoice or statement.

  • Is my registration fee refundable?

    In most cases the registration fee is non-refundable. Please refer to the Refund Policy if you would like further details. please contact international@bluestoneeducation.co.uk

  • Can I pay my fees in instalments?

    You have the choice of whether to pay your fees in advance for the year or pay termly. If you choose to pay termly then fees are due 2 weeks before the start of each term.

  • Can I arrive in the middle of a term?

    No, we have set dates for the commencement of studies and you must arrive during one of these times. However, most courses have multiple intakes throughout the year so you can probably start within a few weeks of registering.

  • Are scholarships available?

    The best answer is YES! 


    BSE partners scholarship opportunities for students applying for an academic programme under the Core Scholarship. Made up of numerous sub scholarship schemes, targeted at different regions around the world, awards range from partial contribution towards tuition fees to awards covering the full programme fees.
